Amazon Return

Had to return an item I purchased for Christmas at Amazon. Was going through the return process and amazon is giving an immediate refund and I keep the product. It was only a $10 item. They must have done some research and figured it is cheaper to eat the sale then to process a refund.

I have had similar experiences with Amazon. Truly top shelf customer service. I bet they are still making money on that $10 item even after sending you another one free. God Bless China!!

Yeah. The downfall of the US.

They are not sending me another one. Just told me to keep it, don't bother sending it back and we'll still give a full refund. I'm sure it's cheaper than paying for return postage and processing the the item when it arrives at their warehouse.

My wife had purchased some nice candle sconce thigamajigs (set of 4) from Amazon and one came broken. It was about a $75 item. They sent us a complete new set and told us to keep the other 3. OK! My son received a video game from Amazon that would not work due to being scratched. Same story, we will send you another and keep the damaged one. Some weeks later my son tried fixing it on a friends disk fixer/cleaner and it worked. I am sure Amazon has the losses figured out to the penny.
