2 inches here thus far. Looks pretty steady here. Too bad I will not make my dentist appointment.

Dry and cold here. Not near as cold as you guys in Minnesota or Wisconsin, but cold enough for me. We need new windows. Too much cold is getting into the house.

How's the weather this morning? Flights into Norfolk have been canceled for the next two days. Joey gets two more days of his Nona - and my wife gets two more days of her mother-in-law!

As for here, it's -1 with the wind chill. No snow expected but as I said yesterday the school district has the kids on a two hour delay/modified kindergarten for the rest of the week.

Snow ended around 5PM. Swirling wind made blowing it a bit difficult. The wind never blows in the direction you need it to. Anyway, even though we had 18" it was very light and powdery. I have a pretty large driveway and I cleared the driveway and walkway and front stoop in 90 minutes. And in a rare piece of luck our plow guy came by just as i finished the end of my driveway. he did his last touch up and I did the same. Should not have to deal with that early tomorrow morning. LOVE my Ariens snow blower!

School closed again tomorrow. Ended up with a bunch of snow though its hard to really tell how much because of the wind. Some spots have very little and others are close to a foot. Also had 50-60 mph gusts overnight so that was fun. Temps are supposed to stay below freezing until Monday so we are officially shut down. Roads should get a nice freeze tonight.
Kwak- I saw on the news that the airport was open and beginning to take flights.

My old neighbors in Midlothian VA reported a 3" total. No school on Friday.
