Default Carrot Soup

Bought too many carrots this week so had to go looking for something to do with them:
Found this recipe. Really nice.
I altered it a little by using my own turkey stock instead of chicken, added two cloves of garlic and about a tsp and a half of fresh grated ginger.

(I buy a whole ginger root, by the way, and keep it in a ziploc in the freezer. Just grate off what I need and then back in the freezer.)

Oh yeah, and garnish with whipping cream (unwhipped).

Nice. You can't miss with allrecipes. Great site. Anything with a 4.5 plus rating is always good. That is healthy too!!!! Much more so than the carrot cake on that site that is to die for.

Sounds interesting. Ginger and carrot go well together.
