Gorgeous day out today. Had a lot of rain yesterday which my garden really appreciated, but today looks like nothing but sunshine.

I really can't complain about about the weather but jeez o man are the weeds out! There was one that grew to about 4' tall while we were on vacation. Lucky for me it grew upward instead of running roots down deep. I mowed the lawn the other day and pulled out a lot of the bigger weeds but I need to take a hard tine rake to the beds.

Anyway, today I'm hoping to get my mother to come and take my 11yo to the pool at her apartment complex. I can't allow myself to get lazy but I need him out from under me so that I can get back in the swing of things - and sign him up for summer camp while I'm at it, too!

Gorgeous today as well, dry weekend ahead.
Finally.
Tornado rolled through Wilkes-barre, weather alerts roused us out of bed round about 11pm. Storm rotation over Mt Pocono headed to Stroudsburg, we in the path, so down in the basement we went. We watched it on radar on our cell phones. Could hear the wind and hail.
Up here I imagine it would bounce and skip on the hilltops.

Temperature is a bit chilly this morning but it should slowly work itís way up to the low 70ís. Nice and sunny out, but I really donít appreciate the yellow clouds lately... slightest breeze picks up and the air turns yellow with pollen.

Seems weíre under a heat advisory. High temperatures and high humidity. Itís days like this I have no regrets about getting central A/C a couple years back.
