ARS! Too darn funny!!!
First day, we’ll call it practice. I’m stopping at 50. I started around noon. I Managed 10 an hour. Wifey’s home now. Tomorrow I’ll start as soon as she leaves. Pippa told her I have a new hobby.

Last night, I saw same results at 50 burpees on guys. I’m cutting back
I can increase by a couple after a month. Probably safer due to my age.

I had to Google burpee. We used to do something similar in boot camp but it was an 8 count exercise. If I were to do 50 now at my age it would be more of a "fartee."

Welp. No more burpees.
Just doing 10 is exhausting for an old guy. Set off the implant while I was catching my breath- cooling down, after a set. The high heart rate overuse I mentioned before.

Back when Joe was in elementary school I would go for a neighborhood walk and listen to podcasts on my phone. One was a TED talks about green zones; regions of the world where people live the longest. The major form of exercising was just walking everywhere and these people would live to be over 100. The scientists (if you believe in that kind of thing) theorized that the reason was that they found the balance in exertion and whatnot and that the lack of inflammation was responsible.

Not a big city. No subway, or buses. Well, maybe a city if you were to put yourself in the center of those things.

I’d prefer it if we put a size cap on personal vehicles and put in more sidewalks and bike lanes, honestly. I don’t do cities. There’s a section of the suburbs nearby that is a “walking community” but a major artery into the city runs right though it and drivers refuse to slow down and will mow somebody over every now and then. It’s as much a geography issue though; there are so many hills and valleys in the region that there are an over abundance of narrow, blind curves.

I’m trying to get back into the habit of walking. It seems to be the most efficient form of exercise for me - plus it gets me out of the house for “me” time.
