I need to learn how to do that. I took my wifeís car in to supposedly get new brakes and it sure as hell donít sound or feel like it. Either that or time for a new mechanic.

Meanwhile, my new tubeless compatible MTB tires came. Iím going to run them with tubes for a little while before doing the conversion. The tires came all folded up and I need to get them to stretch into shape.

Yesterday I also took advantage of there being no work to do the floors and windows. I also found that I could reach that hard to reach spot by hanging out the window and hung the last two pieces of trim Iíd cut. I still have 6 more pieces but theyíre as high off the ground so Iíll be hanging out the window again.

Finally, I gotta guy to come measure for interior French doors. Hopefully theyíll be in and I can move on to really making noise by kicking off my wifeís bathroom renovation.

We went to Promised Land State Park up in Skytop. All day on the beach. The snack areas open. The canoe shop was open. The bathrooms were open. Only 15 families in the park. Was a nice sunny day. Later, dinner at Alaska Peteís.

Thatís rural Pennsylvania for you. They may scoff at Harrisburg but really most people in those areas ďsocial distanceĒ as an almost hereditary thing.

Iíve never been to that park. My mom used to take me to Gouldsboro or Hickory Run State Parks.

Over the weekend, I changed the brake pads on my truck back to Wagner pads from the EBC Yellow Stuff truck and tow. I'm a little POed. Those pads are talked-up in multiple forums online, but they were some of the worst pads that I've ever used. They made lots of dust, smelled like a burning clutch, and did a worse job of stopping my truck and trailer. The only good thing is that they did not eat the rotors.

I've been working on getting the neck ready for the fretboard on my guitar build. I had to extend the trench for the truss rod and have been trying to get the gluing surfaces dead flat.

My wife is also making noise about me getting started on the bathroom but I can't see her being happy about me ripping subfloor boards underneath her feet and lugging them in the front door and up the stairs - much less having to share a bathroom that she expects me to keep clean for at least two weeks. I need to make sure that that office door gets put in.

I just got done scrubbing the pool we bought for the covid summer. Gotta store it for the winter.
I might vacuum upstairs.

Last night was ruined by smoke. The jet stream brought it over form way out in Californ eye aaa and Are ya gone.
I did catch the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and that was a big event for me. Saw Saturn at 200 x mag.
It was foggy like. I could only make out one constellation and maybe a few other stars. The smoke was high enough it wasnít a respiratory issue, and it didnít smell. It was just reduced visibility. Sucked ass though.

Today I did final wipe down/ dry down of the pool and stowed it away. I then went inside a bottle and stood a lighthouse back up and glued it back in place. Scary situation there.
I vacuumed upstairs and then the day was over.
