I think the trunk of the tree was about 30" or so, but we're out in the boonies and on an acre lot. We had a large hackberry removed that had grown next to the house and fence in Oklahoma. That cost a grand, cash. They did it cheaper for cash.

Doors swell in springtime. That's my excuse.

I spent four hours+ getting the door hung last night and it sticks in the door jam, and the pre-bore doesn't line up with the striker on the frame. I took it down as soon as I got Joey on the bus with the intention of making more sawdust in the garage - because it had to rain today. Ugh.

A couple of years ago I had a solid core door hung by Home Depot and watched them do it, which is why I figure I could do it. That door sticks too.

Next time I'm paying the freight for a pre-hung door - and I might even have somebody else do it.
