Default Anyone Play RPGs?

Yeah, Dungeons and Dragons. But not that necessarily. Turns out there's a lot of RPGs out there. I run a play by post at another vB site. Lots of fun if you entertain the notion you could be a writer.

I love setting them up and knocking them down. The campaign I'm running currently has been stable and active for over six years. I add players and pit them against each other in double blind threads until, eventually, the game gets too big to keep in my head. Then I start killing them off in some tragic literary way.

Not card games, but I do like the typical RPG games on the XBOX 360. I've been thinking of FINALLY getting into Skyrim.

My experience with video games has never been all that great. When all the game systems started taking off, my family kind of got left behind because good ole dad wasn't spending money on that. I didn't miss it. Then video games started taking that one player slant so any of my friends who had systems really had a difficult time sharing. Watching was 'teh suk' and so again I didn't miss it. Now, I'm so out of the loop video games are a completely different world. Nothing wrong with them though.

We used to play DnD up until we had kids. We had a good campaign going, meet a couple times a month. Back in school we'd play Starcraft too.
Since then it's borderlands on xbox and that's about it.

Before I moved and met my wife, I had a pretty steady weekly game. Then abruptly, three members of the party, including myself, moved away. I've tried getting together with some people where I live now but it was major league awkward. You'd think that sharing an interest in a hobby would be binding but....What can you do?

Not table top RPG's but have been tempted by warhammer 40k lately.

Never got into any 40K but I did do some DnD minis for a short stint. Now I have this loose collection of miniatures, the majority I won as prizes for participating.
