+1.

I have component cables though. It's not close to a 360 though if you are expecting that.

You might get a little better picture with these cables, http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

We only have the wii hooked up to a small 22 inch tv at the moment but I picked up those cables and the picture seems to be a tad better.

Monoprice is great, lowest prices on most cables, so if you need some new cat5 or hdmi cables, check them out.

And their wall mounts are really cheap, I use one for my 50 inch tv and it was $35 or so and sturdy. Easy to install too

We broke down and got a 1080 Panasonic 42" for the living room.

Even using the "component" inputs from the wii. We get pixelation on some scenes.

Its because streaming is based all on your internet connection.....if you are streaming a movie and someone is on the computer ,the movie suffers....you have to usually have all your bandwidth dedicated to the streaming movie ......even then its only as good as basic SD signals

I think the highest resolution a wii can produce is 480p, and I think you need the cable with the rgb connectors to get that resolution.

I noticed a lot of the shows, adult and kids, are the same things we're watching. I didn't realize Netflix had TV shows too. Are they streamed in HD?

What is the price breakdown? I have a Wii and wireless already, plus I believe my new BluRay player has some sort of streaming capability. Might be an alternative to cable, though I baseball season is coming up.

I read that and wondered what connection he had as well. Broadband these days is usually sufficient to stream a movie and surf the web.

Here's mine, upload is shoddy because I'm sending a large file right now.
