P90X is pretty torturous.

Mogwai, let me know if you are going to start P90X again before say, July.

This would be my fourth attempt at getting past two weeks into the program. I would totally appreciate knowing someone else was cursing at the same workout.

I may do some p90x, though I skip yoga, can't stand it. I also have rushfit with MMA fighter George St. Pierre, not a bad workout either, just 45 minutes.

I've been thinking about doing a 3-4 days a week of the p90x plyo (I'd do the kenp but that's the only dvd I'm missing), tapout xt plyo and 1-2 Rushfit videos. I enjoy the martial arts type workouts more.

Don-Dad,
That's not a bad idea (doing the plyo and the Kenpo), though I might still do the yoga for the flexibility. I kept thinking I needed to do the whole program.

One of the major things holding me lately, besides time, was the upper body workout. I dislocated a rib about a year and a half ago, and it regularly pops out of place about once a week handling the kids. After visiting the chiropractor several times, I've taught my wife how to pop it back in.

Anyway, maybe I'll just structure my own plan on the cardio-type workouts.

I've done P90x before, but it quickly faded for two reasons. I just didn't have the right kind of equipment/set up at home and that Tony dude is a tool and a half.

I checked out Tae Bo video at the library today, I'll watch a few minutes and see how that looks.

My elbow is screwed up so I'm limited to leg/cardio workouts, been hitting the gym 3-4 days a week and hockey every Saturday morning for 2 hours. Might do p90x plyo tonight.

Sure thing.

I actually somewhat look forward to the yoga. Back when I actually did stuff I was pretty flexible and would like to get some of that flexibility back. Cramping up while making whoopie is a complete buzzkill.

No kidding on the flexibility. I just liked feeling better and not aching so much. I used to make-fun and crack jokes about yoga. Never again. One hell of a workout, and you feel pretty damn good afterwards.

I'm thinking June-ish.
