After my first full week of doing the 5-2 diet I am shocked to find I am down 4lbs. There are two reasons why I am shocked. First, I have a stiff lower back from my son showing me how strong he is and lifting me twice, so I had to miss a few workouts and secondly with the bad weather we had this weekend we all pretty much just hung around Friday night into Sunday night eating and drinking. I thought for sure I was going to be lucky to break even. Needless to say I am pleased. The 2 days of fasting were not bad at all. I found it very easy.

Thanks tomcat, in advance.
I eat like a pig every meal until I'm full. I got no control. I know why. Because
My dad used to tell us. No dessert until you clean your plate, the Navy gave you lots of food, then rushed you.
When I'm single, I become malnourished.
My now wife says I looked liked I needed someone to put a meal in front of me.
5 years later, I grew to what I perceive to be too round with a prison guard type pot belly. I can still see my Johnson.

Trying to be careful because of that invisible guy who tazes me. He nailed me after a treadmill workout.
So 300 calories a meal.
2 pieces pizza instead of 4
All the veggies you want- except corn( only a cup)
Drink a V8 before lunch no chips ( sandwich and pickle)
Eat an apple right before dinner.
Fiber bar for snack.
Dessert on Friday.
Result down 7 pounds in a week and half. Most def take a multivitamin every day

2 days off sounds interesting. I hate water.

It kind of bleeds into normal eating days. You get use to not having to eat as much. I pigged out this weekend but today I have had 2 diet cokes and peanut butter on a roll around 7:30. 12:30 now and I am not starving.

I'm stuck in a 5 lb rut.
Watching my food intake. I hope to be walking a few miles a few times a week. Got a 6 year old monkey on my back.
I did the treadmill but fell (collapsed) after a fast paced walk 3 mile walk. Dizzy, then giving the floor a hug.
Can't do that again.

Still doing the 5-2 diet. Gets much easier over time. I would guess I follow it 3 weeks out of 4. Down about 10lbs. But feel like I am down much more. My 11 year old weider home gym finally died. To change things up I am started my wife's Jillian Michaels video set this week. Holy moly what a piece of lesbian ass. She and her friends help pass the time for 30 minutes. So far so good.

Excellent.

I need to weigh... Just to get another baseline. Any sort of diet has been difficult to maintain with the kids and the stress. I'll do great all day and bomb that night. We're just eating too late and too tired to eat right at night. Our only success is typically when we eat with the kids, but depending on the day that just doesn't happen.

On a positive note, I'm still getting to the gym once or thrice a week. I'm at least trying to make use of that since I'm paying for it.
