We had school cancelled yesterday, but it probably should have just been a delay because by the time his bus would normally pick him up even our back road was fairly clear, and my wife said every road on her way to work was mostly clear as well.

Today it's just warm enough that the snow is getting nice and heavy, but all the roads and walks are clear. It's actually kind of pretty, the trees covered in snow.

Cool and clear here for now. Woke up to a text/email from the school district announcing an early dismissal for today. I guess there is some snow on the way.

Snowing here, but very lightly. I guess it's supposed to be this way all day, but we're only supposed to get a couple of inches so I imagine there's going to be no issues with keeping the roads clear.

I wake up at 5:20 AM to use the john and check the cell for any messages about a possible delayed start for school due to the weather. Nothing. Go back to bed and 5 minutes later I hear the cell vibrate in the bathroom. I get up at the usual 5:45 to get kids going and sure as shit the vibe I heard earlier was about a 2 hour delay. Of course my daughter's dog heard me moving around so she joined the party. So I take the dogs out at 5:45 and it is dry as a bone out. WTF? I go back to bed for an hour and get up with the wife. Sure as shit by the time the kids and wife left for work/school the rain was already freezing outside. Great timing!

Fortunately the freezing rain was mostly south of us, so nothing here. Just a gray day, and it'll probably rain this afternoon.

It's going to hit 60 here tomorrow. It's pretty rainy here to but relatively warm already and a bit windy. Better weather is ahead for you guys to my east.

14 here. It was -2 this morning. The sun is shining though and they're saying 40's by Friday.
