Question Lightning Deals on Amazon Prime

Has anybody ever ordered a Lightning Deal from Amazon Prime? I’ve been wanting a GoPro Hero for filming my bike rides but they’re too expensive IMO.

Well, today as I was ordering a paperback off Prime I noticed they were listing a Chinese knock off for $36. I am tempted to jump on it but the regular price is $400 and it seems too good to be true.

PS: I don’t want to make this sound like a “Mother May I?” thing but this is a gift card balance purchase thing; not on the joint CC! 😉

Oh yeah, I have. I bought a couple of fiber optic endoscope cameras for work, regular price 200 something, got them for 30 bucks or so. They work fine, I don't expect any kind of tech support though.

I've got a few things off lightning deals that have been of the Chinese knock off variety. Never had anything not work. Not always the best quality, and in a couple cases there were zero instructions. You get what you pay for - it'll work (at least in my experience), but it just might not be the best quality around. For somethings, however, that's fine.
