It's chilly. There's not a cloud in the sky and just a slight hint of the fall colors.

It was below 30 when I was out waiting for the school bus this morning. Some of the trees are starting to change - yesterday they were pretty much all green, now half have a lot of yellow in them.

I'm ready for the colder weather because I don't want to have to mow again this year.

So they misses on Hurricane Matthew by about 100 miles. Which means for the first time since saturday we have power. instead of 3-4 inches of rain we had close to 14 and wind gusts close to 90.

Glad to hear that you've got power. I hope that you didn't lose too much of your freezer or at least had the grill running. We've got friends in a small town in SC that may be out for another day or two. They were out for almost two weeks a few years back, and just about ran out of propane from running the grill so much. Here, I worry and gripe about the power being out for few hours.

That's quite the stretch to go without power. Hope that everything is returning to normal, or as close as it gets, now!

It's raining like I need to build an ark. Joey says the old man who was snoring but woke to fall out of bed must've broken his back, You gotta love kids.

It was 80 here yesterday though. The forecast calls for mid 80s by the middle of the week. I'm looking forward to Indian Summer. I just want the rain to stop.
