Clear and cold here in CT. Better than at my old hood in VA. They have a foot of snow. Good luck with that!

Aw crap, Mark! I bet they're off from school all week! Virginia is not equipped or experienced in dealing with snow.

Here, west of the Alleghenies it's cold and crisp. We had a partial snow melt but there's still a lot of frost and just enough snow to remind us that winter isn't quite here yet.

Laughing at my weather forecaster. Started like this:
"Cold and dry. Then dry and cold. Only difference at night is it will be cold and dry and dark. Rain on Saturday. That's the week ahead. Your local news is next. "

And yes, an old friend just confirmed that school is out probably all week. Schools down there are run by the county, if even one school can't open none do. And is is a big county.

Yes he was, and whenever he reported the time it "5 hours before the big hour of 5 o'clock" ; the clock was stopped and he was too stoned to notice lol!
