It is a bit quirky that a guy that has invested so much in devaluing the privacy of others values his own so much.

Well, Mark, your Mets got my Brewers 2 out of 3. Sure would have been nice to get that one yesterday, but the Mets look tough! Barring any surprise weather hindering my travel, which I wouldn't count out, I'm going the Brewers/Reds game tomorrow night. God bless that dome! Wonder how they're liking their outdoor baseball in Minnesota right now? Lost a whole series.

GBDad, I missed yesterdays game due to a family thingy. It was nice to see my favorite Mets and all around Mets fans favorite Wilmer Flores get the walk off tater! As for the Mets loss in the second game, I take solace in the fact that Matt Harvey was pitching. Can't stand the pompous ass hat. Boy has his world come crashing down. He might be heading back to the minors when we get another pitcher off the DL soon. I would love it!

Yeah, it's hard to ignore given that I'm fully invested in the Penguins right now and have had to endure hockey discussion sometimes being pre-empted for college basketball and golf in addition to MLB.

I admit, I miss riding the T down to PNC Park - even if I was watching meaningless baseball most of the time. It was easy to drop $200 there though.

Just heard there was record ratings for this year's NFL Draft. No kidding? It was the first year it was on over the air broadcast TV. Take note MLB. You want to help playoff ratings? Get more games on free TV!

My Brew Crew showed their true colors this weekend against the Cubs. Went into a 4 game series in Chicago on an 8 game winning streak after taking the last 2 from the Reds, sweeping the Marlins in 4, and taking both games in K.C. As people were geeking out over it I had to remind them that they played 3 of the worst teams in MLB during that winning streak. Win 3 of 4 in Chicago and we have something going. Lo-and-behold, play a good team and get swept, being shut out 3 times in 4 games. Lost 7 of 8 against the Cubs so far. At least .500 against the Cards at 3-3. But losing 10 of 14 to the two teams you're supposedly in contention with isn't going to cut it.

Your boy ended up with the Reds. Honestly, was hoping the Brewers would take a flyer on him. I know they say he kind of lacks that fire in the belly, but if getting DFAd doesn't light it nothing will. Would assume the deal includes the Mets paying most, practically all, of his salary. Fizzle and he's got two choices, accept an assignment to AAA and get right, or be out of work. Nothing to lose for the team that picks him up. Good move for the pitching depleted Reds.

Well.....I wasn't going to rip on Cincinnati night life since being from Green Bay, and a fan of all things Milwaukee, you could say that's the pot calling the kettle black. But yes, I thought the same thing!
