After running around all day prepping for more days without electricity/wifi and cable I stumbled across a market selling 20 lb. bags of ice for $4.99. Righteous! I get a text telling me our house wont have power until Tuesday so I think i am god to go. I then get a text from neighbors about an hour later that our power was back on. I was not home but the best $10 bucks on ice I ever wasted. 5 days without power was enough.

good point.

I'm always amazed what our mechanics pay for Snap-On tools. Frankly their wrenches and stuff are fine but their cordless stuff and power tools are top notch, worth it imo if that's what you do for a living

Yesterday, my son demonstrated that he had no problem unlatching the security flip lock on the front door, so off to Lowe's to buy three set of double-keyed deadbolts. We knew he would figure them out some day, but we thought that we still had a couple years to go. That will make over $500 in locks since we moved-in. Fun. Fun. Fun.

What did I do today? Way too much. Can't wait to go to work tomorrow and relax.

Iíll still working on the bay window. I canít get the angled pieces cemented before hanging. because theyíre warped so Iím just going to cement them when I hang them and use screws in the middle of the boards to address the warping.

My wife is getting impatient about her bathroom.
