Anyone looking to upgrade their network to a gigabit connection?
I have a d-link 4100 available. I used it for about 2 years but finally got around to making my apple extreme the main router for my network. More info on this item can be found here: http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=371 It works just fine but in order to take advantage of gigabit speeds you'll need cat6 or cat5e cables (I by all mine at monoprice.com, they sell the cables dirt cheap). I do have the original box. It's selling on amazon for $93 - a $20 rebate = $73.99. I'll sell mine for $40 that includes shipping. I also have a netgear prosafe gigabit switch, 8-port and a 5 port. I'll have to double check the models but we could negotiate a price for any or all of the router/switches. This is the 5 port http://www.amazon.com/Netgear-GS105N...284154&sr=1-14 PM me if you're interested. Thanks! |

That is a GREAT router. I know of 20 people who have it and love it. I have the 4500 and it's fantastic. Good deal.
