No good! I hope she recovers quickly!

As an aside, I'm building another, bigger coop from scratch. Not even using plans, just playin' it by eye. They're just chickens, I'm sure it'll be ok. :P

Went to my 3-year olds "Dad's lunch" at his preschool today where we brought them lunch and got to hang out. They also do this thing where the answer questions about their dad and draw a picture and during Dad's lunch the teachers share them with everyone and you have to "guess" which one is you. I was cringing because when I went through this four years ago with my 7-year old he wrote my favorite food was "beer"... which always goes over well with the other dads but not the teachers as much...

This time my younger one put "chicken fingers" (which is actually his favorite food)... but to be honest, my 7-year old had it correct!

Nice!

I would frame that.

Tore out a bunch of bushes by the water to give us better access to the bay. Managed to not disturb the large moccasin that went into the back near me. Between those trees and all the dead limbs that have gathered on the ground on this place before we bought it I filled up a small city yard waste dumpster. I was really excited about the progress I made- going on day 3 and I am not sure that the wife noticed.
Oh and I cleaned bathrooms which I hate doing.

I woke up. So far that's about it.

The past two weeks I've been focusing on getting the picture frame molding in for the upstairs portion of my wainscoting project. It's been tricky because they fit like crown molding so unless the rails and stiles are flush up against the wall there are gaps. The stairs have been especially tough because I've had to cut at odd angles on my miter saw, which isn't the best (I need to get a bolt to lock the angle because it tends to move on me) and I've literally come up short on some of my cuts, wasting a lot of molding in the process.

I should probably work on cleaning up my basement, too. It's a complete wreck.

Youngest stayed home yesterday sick from school. As we were playing games she asked what time mom would be home so I could go to football (I coach high school football- kinda my hobby/part time job). I told her 1:30- she has this look of bewilderment and says- "We get on the bus at 7:30 and you don't leave until 1:30- "What do you do all day????"
