That's been on my agenda for, oh, let's see, my oldest is 7, so about 7 years. I keep saying one of these days I'm going to get to it. The hardest part is there's two large shelves of boxes that are all my wife's crap, and I can't touch them until she goes through them to see what she really wants to keep. Of course she never seems to have time to do that.

A comment like that would cause my judgement to lapse and throw a red sock in with their tightie whities in hot water. Oops!

I installed a UV light in my A/C cabinet after the HVAC guy noticed that I had a little mold. Hopefully, this will help clean the air in the house.

Yesterday I subbed in a kinder class. Spent the rest of the day with a headache. Today is finishing the coop time. Coffee first.

Looking at those pictures of our upstairs we really need to get new carpeting for those steps and hallway. We just about have enough remnant from the downstairs family room to do it.

Meanwhile, I'm finishing up on finishing up the picture frame molding on the stairway "panels". The angles are really wonky but I got two done before running out of molding. I also need to figure out how to do a more "low profile" way of capping off the top. The quarter round is just sitting there for me to consider but I need something that looks a little nicer, so off to Lowe's again today!

It's coming along Kwak!

I helped butcher 70 chickens today. Pays better than subbing.

Thanks, Tony. The picture framing is about 99% in and I have an idea on how to cap the panels on the stair wall so that they don't jut out so much. I'm still on the fence for the upstairs though. I think it needs to be less ornate, but am reserving judgment until I put the baseboards in.

BTW, don't choke those chickens. Be humane about it. One fell stroke, no more.

Hah, you probably don't want to know the procedure. ;)

Back to building the coop today.

I imagine it's all in the wrist, but would probably appreciate it if you spared us the details!
