This is a quick recipe, takes no time besides making the rice that can be done in advance, and makes a really filling tasty meal.
Ingedients: 1 cup rice 2 1/4 cup chicken stock 2 Tbs Tstd Sesame Oil 2 Tbs Teriyaki Sauce 3 Green Onion thin sliced (White, light green parts only) 1.5 cups steamed peas 3 eggs (sliced grilled chicken if desired) Start the Rice: Add 1 cup rice, 2 1/4 cup chicken stock, teaspoon toasted sesame oil, dash teriyaki sauce in cooker, pan, etc. Make as normal. Put 2 tbs of Sesame oil in pan, once hot, put in three eggs and scramble. Add the Onions, peas (and chicken) and teriyaki sauce, and mix it all up. Once the rice is done, add it all together and enjoy! |

I might have to try that recipe. I enjoy eating some fried rice from the local chinese take-out and it's the complete opposite of healthy.

That's not fried rice. Just call it "unfried rice" or "a seasoned rice."
