Looks like the boss agrees with you guys. She’s grumbling about the cost though.

A couple more lines and the 3 sails up front and the Baltimore clipper is done. Baby steps ya know.

Problem: do I paint a white stripe and call her Pride Of Baltimore or paint a burnt orange/tan stripe and call her Pride II?

Today, along with the usual multiple loads of wash, I did grocery shopping, figured where the chocolate smell in my bathroom was coming from. It surely wasn't be to be sure. It was a new air freshener the wife installed while I was gone over the weekend. I also diagnosed a faulty table lamp that I will pick up parts for tomorrow and I solved the mystery of the lost dog collar for one of my dogs. I have been looking for over a week. Now I can sleep.

Not yet, still filling the mantle above the fireplace. Angle parking of course to maximize spaces.

6 bottled up. 2 in dry dock. 1 shipwreck.

In laws coming for dinner. You might recall:She's the first one to pull me aside and point out "you missed a spot over there." She does it every time she comes over.
When we had family gatherings she would murmur with the ladies,"why doesn't he get a job?"
Now that I'm on disability, it's, "he looks fine to me, why can't he work?"
She thinks I can't hear.

So I spent all day cleaning while the girls went to the horsey farm. Taking my time. Baby steps, lots of water, lots of breaks, trying not to stress.
Then the girls came home and got in the way when I was mopping. They smartened up and went to the grocery store and art store so I could finish. I cleaned the guinea pigs cage too. Beer me! Oh wait. Water me. Alcohol and Epilepsy don't mix. Shit-taki.
Pray for me boys.
Dad gets on s political soapbox, forgetting I'm on his side.
Mom has no filter and says whatever is on her mind, not caring who she offends.
They both refuse to take their shoes off. I wish they would respect us and leave the outside dirt outside, and I'll be removing scuff marks for the next 2 days.

Usual Monday laundry day, food shopping and more importantly I cleaned the outside of the windows on my house being that it warmed up a bit outside. It was a bit breezy out too. I decided instead of the usual tilting in windows since it is a bit labor intensive and my window hardware is a bit sketchy, I would try a spray product that hooked up to the outdoor hose. To my surprise it worked quite well! A lot faster that the old method even though it was a bit breezy out and my retractable hose is only a 1/2 inch hose. Even got the second floor windows done! 2 bottles at around $7.50 a piece, not bad.

Didn’t do shit yesterday except go to Lowe’s and the library. I like Home Depot for their better prices but ours is small; Lowe’s has more variety - like premixed mortar, modified thinset and self leveling compound. Our HD didn’t have any of that.

My mom is into quilting and bought a robot to put on her long arm machine. I finished installing it yesterday, only to be told that she wants it put on backwards. To me that's the logical place for it, but of course the crappy instructions barley guided me through the first set-up without lots of re-engineering on my part. So that will be my tomorrow... or Saturday. Today's job is mowing the Church. Probably not the last of the season.

So the thing with finding a guy may be off the table. The guy my wife was referred to on Facebook turned down the job. He said he was giving it up because his knees were shot. My plumber has said the same thing.

Then out of left field we get hit with $800 in car repairs this month so she’s more about me getting a job. It’s looking like this will be my job for now, smh. I’ve already played the part of roadside assistance and personal assistant. I need to put that on my Linked In profile. 😉

Moving forward...pouring in self leveling compound looks like fun.
