Question Gluten Free?

I have Celiacs, which means I can't eat Wheat, Rye, or Barley,...at all. Anyone else in here have this too?

Thankfully I do not suffer from that but have a friend who does. I could not imagine life without barley. I see in supermarkets that over the last few years that there are many more choices for folks on a gluten free diet. I know Carrabas has many choices for that on their menus as well.

No need to worry Mark, your prized Miller Lite is nothing but water and corn adjunct. Drink away!

We have a few friends with this Celiac. One of them is my wife's best friend, who just came up from STL last weekend for my wife's surprise party. I had to spend a bunch more money on a special pizza and beer for her! Damn gluten!

It seems it's the ailment du jour. Who was the football commentor (was it Ditka?) who said "we didn't even have rotator cuffs in my day, now everyone has a bad one". Im not trying to belittle it, however.

Sorghum beers are out there, gluten free. Some are actually drinkable.

Totally. My SIL has something like that disease you have. Sucks to be her. I can't imagine not eating gluten. What did you do growing up?

Oh and CF. Miller Light is triple hops brewed!!!

I'm not to big of a beer drinker anymore, I did like my Budweiser, but Anheuser bsh has a beer that is Gluten free, Red Bridge. Not to bad, but when it gets warm it's horrible.

I got diagnosed about 2 years ago, so I ate normal when I was younger. I pretty much can't eat any fast food now, Kinda sucks, but my heart thanks me. I eat alot of pizza, I make my crust, or use Brown Rice tortilla shells. I do alot of cooking, so this stay at home dad things has some advantages.
