Add it to the list of appliances used a few times then brought back out for the next garage sale.

We have one, not that exact one, but a juicer anyway. Used it a few times, then it just took up more cabinet space. Kids actually enjoyed pushing oranges down on it. Just another novelty though.

it did put out some good juice, and like I said, the kids loved squishing the oranges. But man, it takes a lot of oranges to make a glass of juice!

I certainly would not pay that $100 for one. Ours is a Braun and doesn't take up nearly as much space as that one.

We still use it occasionally in the summer, but it sits for a long time between uses.

EDIT - I just saw the price of ours, even that seems high! I dont think we got a $50 one. I Amazon'd it, I'd stick with a $25 Black & Decker or something.

I purchased a refurbished one of that same LaLane juicer for $50. While I've not used it in a year, we used it often and got our money's worth, I think. It grind up nearly any fruit or veggie and cleans quite easily. But, as mentioned, it takes a lot to make a glass. We've moved on to smoothies in the blender.

Wife got all excited b/c she saw an infomercial for a "Baby Bullet" food processing system, which appeared to me to be identical to the Magic Bullet, except had a face painted on the plastic part and was $30 more - but we'll see we are thinking of making our own baby food and need some sort of food processing system.
