Too bad I missed that Dodgers game last night.

The Yankees and Rays are going to game 5 tonight. Should be fun. Former Yankee pitching great Whitey Ford passed away at 91 years old today R.I.P. Mr. Ford.
Of course the Yankees will whip out, what I like to call their, "Horizontal Pinstripe" for their sleeves in honor of the former Yankee great and I am sure will try to use it to get some playoff mojo. They have done this for decades. My Mets fan brother (like me) swears the Yankee organization keeps dead former Yankee greats on ice and thaw them out for situations just like this.

Thankfully the Rays spared us from a guarantee of either the Yankees or Astros being in the World Series. The ALCS became watchable. Hopefully the Rays can take down the Astros. Although an Astros/Dodgers rematch would be interesting.

I hope the Astros win it all. It would be classic given with what they did in last year's playoffs.

Anybody else here getting concerned about he corporate ads creeping in onto MLB fields during games? Started along the on deck areas for each team, now it has been on the back of the pitchers mound. Here we go! NHL all over again.

Waddaya mean "NHL all over again?" The MLB practices old school croneyism. If the NCAA can go "korprit" why not the MLB owners with their sweet sweet media deals? They have to be able to afford to pay these primadonnas.

OK. As long as they don't trip and stub their pinky toes on the ink.

As long as they don't sell advertising on the uniforms. I know the Swoosh is in a more prominent spot on the right chest rather than the old Majestic logo on the left sleeve. And New Era has their flag logo on the left side of the caps. Both of which I'm fine with. Yankees fans had a shit fit about both. Forever sullied their "classic" look.

Yet I don't want it to go the way of the NBA. Don't need to see the Harley Davidson logo on the Bucks unis. And don't want Northwestern Mutual Insurance logos on the Brewers.

Guess I haven't been paying that much attention to it but are the logos changing throughout the game? I know the Brewers did that during the regular season. Ads were superimposed digitally along the baselines and on the mound for TV and changed throughout the game.
