I have not heard of 1 company or Government office that is working (IE Post office) that has seen a large number of Commie cough cases ( health care workers not included) and the workers want to stay home instead. I go to a store at least once a day and worked 4 days last week. Were I work there are 300 plus employees and nobody is sick. They have been following the new rules.

This is probably something we should discuss in the pub as it has nothing to do with the weather but I agree that we are insulated by this in that our wives have white collar jobs that can be performed anywhere there is an Internet connection and a telephone. Service jobs are another matter altogether. FWIW I still go to the grocery store, hardware store and order take out/curbside pickup from local restaurants - and tip heavily.

On Friday our area is easing the quarantine and allowing people to congregate in groups up to 25. I can only assume that that also means the one way aisles and strips of tape 6' apart in and outside of stores will be taken up. Our area is so lightly hit (only 1500 cases in the entire county) that they've pretty much been doing that outside in the county parks and multiuse paths anyway. We still can't go to restaurants or sporting events but IMO that's probably not going to happen for awhile - especially the latter.

Nope. Not here. It's county by county. We are fracked due to the fracking New Yorkers not staying home. I can drop my dog off for a bath and grooming and but I can't get a fracking haircut?
Fracking Blue state. Now under a yellow light, the movie theater is open, malls are open, but I still can't go to church?

Don't get me started...
Watch OANN for the real news.

Actually, it's separated into six regions comprising several counties that are metropolitan in nature. The north central part opened last week because basically nobody lives there. Our region is basically Pittsburgh and the adjacent counties minus Beaver county where nursing homes are being overrun by the virus. We've had it pretty good otherwise.

BTW, I Googled OANN. I'm not even gonna...

I watch the local news. That's it. I don't like any of the Netwerk SNewz.

Uh oh.
So the President bashes the Gov of Pa on Twitter yesterday for holding us hostage.
Then the gov on his Covid address announces we are in lockdown until June 4, after the June 2 election.
Lehigh Valley politicians say f u gov, we are opening. Gov calls them cowards, tells business owners it's not worth your license,Operating oermits, health certificates and warns employees at least I'm paying you unemployment and healthcare. If you lose your job when the business loses its operating license, you lose that.
My wife says he is "legal" as the states are in charge according to the Constitution. Got a problem, it goes to the Supreme Court, and the court decided already decided on this last week.
The president decided to come Allentown in Wednesday for an unscheduled rally.

Mind you he has no power in the matter except to rally the people to vote the governor out when his term is up (2023).

My wife turned the heat on. Time to open the windows and get a new liter for the furnace. Im expecting were going to have sinus issues which are probably going to freak me out.
