Found a life hack on that interweb thingy to make bubble mix and became best "best daddy ever."
We blew bubbles off the deck for a good hour.

The wife turned the basement utility room into a play area for the kids and made an art table for our 4 year old. Kept complaining it was too dark. Got a couple of shop lights when she was at work one day and lit that place up like time square.

She was talking about getting an electrician over here with all kinds of wiring and lights. Probably would have been a $1000 job. Nope! $45 at Home Depot!

Got a little project done last week at our cabin I've been meaning to for 15 years, put a new top on the septic tank. Old one had holes and cracks, and cattle sometimes walk on it. Way worse on the inside. Lucky the whole thing didn't collapse as we poured it. Good thing I had a friend to help, mixing concrete in my old mixer is time and energy consuming. Too far away to afford premixed mud.

Yesterday was particularly fun. After I dropped the kids off, my wife calls with electrical problems with the Jeep. She made it to work OK, but I spent the next two hours in the dentist's chair getting fitted for a crown trying to organize a car rescue and still pick the kids up at noon. I got it done... just barely. I had my dad pick up a new battery and swapped the battery and vehicle at my wife's work. I made it home just in time to change vehicles and get the kids.

I think the Jeep ran off of the new battery on the whole 45 min. drive home. The alternator was barely putting out 12V. I'll go get another today and hopefully solve that problem.

Life's just too exciting some days.

I bought 3 tubes of Vanilla Bean Noel body cream at Bed Bath and Beyond and got 3 free. I actually hate the smell of the stuff. I was the only man in the place - apart from another tortured soul who was working there.

Has anyone seen my man card?

It's right under your latest guitar build.

If it gets her in the mood, who cares?

It doesn't - and it doesn't do it for me either. It's the approximation of the loud Xmas sweater; it smells way too sweet, like candy.

Nothing, nada, zilch. And I am proud of myself for it.
