Yup. All you have to do is ask for help. I said to my wife: ďWife, I need your help. This is a two person job and I have one good hand.Ē She said ďokay.Ē

As for a time saw, we have a friend with a Dewalt saw and offered to lend us any tool we need. My wife is the one who feels skirmish about borrowing though since I had his table saw for 6 months doing the wainscoting. I asked if him I could borrow it again. I need one of my own lol.

Meanwhile, Iím YouTube ing the shit out of DIY videos and getting into an anal retentive frame of mine. I donít want things cracking and coming up. I have the subfloor down and triple checking to see if itís level. Iíve cut the backer board and laid it in place and there are a couple of spots that Iím going to have to probably add a little extra grout under the backer board. I think itíll be fine. Those spots are under where the vanity will be.

Lol Iím already talking like a contractor! Donít yíall leave me a negative Yelp!

Putting "extra grout under the backer board?" Never heard a professional contractor say that Kwakster.

Take your time and it will be fine.

Making another tiny ship.
Got the bottle.
Last one I tried to put in, HMS Waterwitch was a "cork" and barely fit. It became a shipwreck in a bottle.
I pulled her out and rebuilt the mast, thinking I'd rebuild it, then gave up.

On to a Baltimore Clipper. No name yet. Maybe the Chassuer or Pride of Baltimore.

I can do this while kiddo is doing school. I sit with her and keep my ears open, if I need to step in for further explanations.

Yea. Thanks. Now get outta my head. Itís scary in here! ;-)

Anyhow - the other day the kitchen spigot (single handle type with a wide base plate meant to cover 3 holes) started spinning. I managed to wedge myself into the cabinet under the sink and discovered that the mounting bracket had rusted away. Iíd say it was maybe 6 years old but the handle was also getting janky so I decided to replace it with one of those newer model ones with the built in telescoping spray nozzle with 2 settings. Now I can blast crusted eggs off and couldnít be happier.

I poured eleven bags of concrete to form a base for our fire pit. I'll see about getting a picture to put online.

I took a nap in the car while Pippa was with her cross country jogging club for a couple hours.
It's been a long 9 years since Daddy has had a nap.
