How quick plans change. Wife and oldest went skiing, wife fell and got hurt. No gingerbread house tonight.

It's the regional ballet "nutcracker weekend." Finally. It's a big deal. Tickets are $20 at the door. $15 in advance. Orchestra in the "pit" too.
Wifey won't let me go.
Says I'm too fragile to sit for 3 hours in a big theater 3 hours. There's pyrotechnics and a strobe light in the fight scene, soldiers vs. mice.
Wifey in costume dept so I would have to stay.
Anyhow there's a group that films it and puts it on CD, we will get a copy for me. I can skip the fight scene.
The dog and I got the house to ourselves! Watching b movies on The Comet channel.

Just our typical weekend of getting up too early to haul kids to hockey. I did get a good start on painting some of the kitchen cabinetry and putting hardware on them.

We went out to dinner with friends and got Thai and drank wine. I paid for it yesterday morning. Yesterday we visited Justin and blew a wad of $$$ toward next weekends Xmas party. Too much $$$.

Wife and I are heading to Beantown for her office Christmas party. UHG! I will know nobody. Staying mat our apartment overnight. Was to be a family weekend there but my son making Basketball team put the Kaybosh on that. Kids first overnight alone tonight. Payback time for this guy. After visiting old neighbors who recently moved to Boston for lunch tomorrow we are heading back and will catch my son's first game Saturday night. He probably wont even play but...........

We're going to Christmas in Baroque Malta concert downtown on Saturday. The plan was to go Mass at the basilica then eats then show but our oldest has a Nordic ski meet and won't be back in time for all that. Apparently some movie is out or something, too. I'll probably catch it on bluray.

Well we have a free hotel night thatís about to expire, so Sunday night we got a room an hour or so away. The plan was to hit a few breweries Iíve never been to and just enjoy some kid free time. Unfortunately now our babysitter had a family emergency she had to travel to take care of, so that means the kids are coming with us. Theyíre excited because they love hotels. Oh well, itíll at least be nice to be out of the house for a little while.
