Happy New Year to you all!

Quiet New Year's Eve here. Son went to an overnight party after we all went out to dinner. My wife and daughter watched cheesy movies fire side while I watched my shows.

Happy New Year. I was in bed by 10 - my 7 year old lasted longer than I did! I did wake up about thirty seconds before the ball dropped b/c there were a ton of fireworks going off all over the neighborhood...

Hope you all had a safe and happy new year!

Very similar to my New Years Eve, my 14-year-old went out and spent the night at a friends, I let the oldest have a few drinks, he just played video games in his room, wife and I watched a movie, wife fell asleep at 9:00, she woke up at 11:45, watched the ball drop and I was asleep by 12:05. She said I was snoring, so she did not get right back to sleep, oh well, that's what she gets for going to bed so damn early.

Happy New Year!

Any resolutions - even non binding ones?

Mine is to throw out the leftovers from the multiple New Years' celebrations. I also have an overabundance of beer that I need to ignore (for the time being! )

In the meantime, I'm working on practicing my playing and singing more in anticipation of getting a coffee house gig, getting a side job at a hardware store (if that falls through I'm thinking of approaching the local guitar store to see if they need another person to do lessons or string changes) and reading up others' contributions for the writing group (that I have to yet to attend!)

It's all pivotal on getting Joey into an afterschool activity though. He still needs to be a higher priority and right now he's being sassy.

Happy New Year's all. We had no plans until the 30th and then somehow managed to double book. Went to a friends party for a little bit and then had friends that wanted to girls to sleepover so we took them there and came back and attempted to watch a movie. I watched the whole thing while the wife slept. We didn't make midnight but it was a nice night nonetheless.

Yeah, I really need to clean out our fridge as well... and take care of the mystery sticky spot in the back corner.

I wish I had leftover beer... Iíve actually been really good lately, I could use the adult treat.
