We had a inch of snow overnight. Snowed stopped. Cleared driveway before taking kids to the bus stop. It is snowing again. Shocked the kids were not delayed. I guess the school district is growing some.

Same here as well. EVERYBODY around us had 2 hour delays, meals on wheels were canceled and right before the high schoolers' bus came up the road we got a snow squall. The driver toughed it out as it was just powder and the roads stayed covered until about 15 minutes before the elementary bus came.

Meanwhile, the city schools had a 2 hour delay so Justin was all confused and my iPhone appears to be dead so I had to rely on the scrolling cancellations on the TV just like I used to when I went to school back in the day.

Anyway, I just put Justin on his bus and the driver said the roads are fine. I know: I got sick of Justin's badgering and loaded him up in the van for a drive around the neighborhood.

We're supposed to get 5-7" of snow this weekend though. I'm thinking of hitting Aldi's after I go to the Apple Store.

It's been snowing steady here since about 5am. No delays, nothing cancelled, no early anything at the moment. I guess the snow areas are really localized with most of this being lake effect snow.

Rained all of yesterday. Looks like it might turn to sleet or snow this morning. Just a wonderful blustery day!

Yup, here too. School was called off yesterday during the day, before a single snowflake had flown. But it was the right call.....this time.

We dodged the Next Big Storm that the TV news was hyping up since Friday. Warm air turned the projected 3-5" into a rain event. All the slush on my driveway actually thawed last night but the temperature is falling and the gutters are icy.

I still saw cancellations for the counties to our north though. How you holding up, FTM? It looks like a good day for snowmobiling.
