...2-4" tomorrow with 6-10" in the mountains to the east of us. Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8PM tonight until 8PM Wednesday.

On the bright side, there's a hockey game tonight and Joey is already off school for a teachers in service day so it's going to be a "zero sum" day.

First day of spring, huh? At least we’re not getting snow, and it is sunny, but 7 degrees? Brrrr!

I just shoveled 6" of snow out of my driveway and it's still coming down. I figure in a couple of hours it will look like I didn't even do anything. Schools are already off for teacher records day so I only saw the snowplow go up our street once - and even then just to do one lane. I have to practically shovel into the middle of the street but quit when I hit slush. It doesn't look we're going anywhere.

Oh - wife has AWD so she went to work. Ho hum.

Ummm, kids already started early release and I would like to report that there is no snow at the present time. My son is already home.

Ya think? 5:20 PM and nary a flake here. Plenty of salt on the roads though. Now they are saying it will start by me around midnight and go until 7:00 AM or so. PERFECT TIMING! I can only assume the school Superintendent is bellied up to a bar right about now contemplating another sleepless night because she will have to make another call on the school schedule tomorrow in the wee hours of the night.
