Woke up this morning not thinking much about the weather, kid wakes up, showers and is dressed only to find out no school. Roads a mess after some thawing, wind and a little wet snow (the heavy stuff). Suppose to hit 40 degrees today.

They're talking about more snow tomorrow though.

First big snow storm of the year. Winter Storm Austin has been dumping on us since last night.

Rainy and warm out today. Glad the gutters and roof are snow and ice free. Went to bed last night with a nice coating of ice on my driveway. It was all gone when I took the mutts out at 6:15 this morning.

Got dug out from the snow storm yesterday. Subzero temps and -30 wind chills on the way for tomorrow to last the next week or so.

After temp around 50, causing flooding from melting snow, we went to freezing temps, causing ice.

Winter Storm Beth. Two storms 4 days apart. About a foot of snow so far. No school today. Probably cancelled until Friday. Dangerous wind chills beginning tomorrow. Down to -60 in some parts of the state.
