Gduck, you guys seem to be getting more snow that us, we have to be over a foot, closer to 18 inches if I had to guess by the path I made the kids shovel to the front door. It has not stopped snowing the past 12 hours. Not heavy bursts of snow, just slow and steady.

Too far south for snow. But it is was too cold out. Winds blowing about 30 mph with temps in the 20's. Wind chills in the teens right now.

We got spared from the brunt of it but theres still a little bit of the white stuff on the ground. Not enough to be troublesome.

I would guess we got 18-20 inches of snow with heavy winds. Just got in from the last round of snow blowing....I hope.

It's still snowing here, the lake-effect variety now. Kids had no school, I think almost all schools are closed in Central, NY.

Plowman broke down. We got knee deep snow. Our driveway is like a the first drop of a roller coaster with ice on the lower part. Even walking it is treacherous.
Plowman got another truck. I had to clean up after him. Wifey a day all messed up. I'd love a snowblower but can't see it working out on our hill. Blood and guts instead.
Oh well. Just another day in in the Poconos.

We ended up with about 18 inches according to the yard stick I let stuck on the outside table. The snow drifts however, yeesh. Sun is out today though so that should help get the roads clear. So glad we have the beefy snow blower that just chews through the giant piles, even the packed ones the snow plow leaves at the end of our driveway.

Wish it had happened earlier in the winter, but hey, it's nice to see something looking like winter because it's been awhile.

40 with 20 mph winds. Wind chill in the low 30's- should make for a fun race.

The sun is out and it's just warm enough that the snow is ever so slightly melting (and our driveway and walk are perfectly clear! Woo!).

Pleasant today. Mid 40's now with no wind and the sun is shining.
