If any of my fellow NJ dads are able to make it out one of these nights, you should come catch my band. We play about once a month, and it'd be nice to meet some of you in person and let everyone blow off some steam.

Pretty cool Ben. I wish you played closer to me.

Where are you again? We were actually talking the other day about branching out to some new places, possibly even South Jersey.

A couple locations under 30 minutes. Gee Ben... I never knew you were in the scene.

My FIL heads a blues Band named "Son Lewis", for over 25 yrs now. They run a circuit and play some Blues festivals in the tri-state area. Ya might have heard of him?

I haven't checked this thread in a while. Sorry For not replying Irie. I haven't heard of them, but I haven't had time to study up on who's who in the scene these days.

Hey, on an unrelated topic, are any Jersey, maybe even tri state area dads interested in hitting the city for something some Saturday this summer? I swear I'm gonna burst if I don't get some grown up social interaction that doesn't have to do with talking to teachers, dealing with crap at my part time night job, or something like that. Even the band, which used to be my outlet, is getting to be a major source of stress for me. Just not July 6 or 13 or August 3. I suppose August 24 is out too since that's my 40th birthday.

Well, when I say the city, I mean THE city, NY, but where I am I could do Philly too. If I can remember the name of that cheesesteak place across from that pizzeria I also can't remember the name of, I'll treat myself to a Philly taco.
