It'll be a cheap one; I don't see myself doing this more than once. My wife has already said that if I do the smaller bathroom she wants pros to do the bigger one - but then again she's been known to change her mind when the money matters come up.

I'm not at all intimidated by toilets, sinks, faucets - hell, even vanities and lighting. That all has to go on top of the floors or inset into the walls, but gutting Justin's room was really to hard to do all by myself. That's why I'm disappointed that she seems to be waffling on her offer to help with the floors. So I'm doing simple things like sanding/painting moulding and swapping out doorknobs just to keep momentum up.

That being said, I would like to get a router table or buy some more guitar tonewood. I've been eyeing up a set of black walnut from a retailer over in Ohio (about 3 hours away) that is on sale for just shy of $75. For a day ride and a half tank of gas I could "save" myself on shipping!

Went for a follow up Dr. visit to monitor my results of a new BP med I am on. Things heading in the right direction happy to say. Love my Dr. Younger Husband/Wife duo. I see the Husband. They built this brand new office in town that really came out great. The only issue I see is that they skimped on interior wall insulation. While waiting for my Dr. to see me I heard him in the next room with a male patient. I heard the play by play of the guy getting a prostate exam. I know the drill.

Wifey went to work, stayed an hour. Nobody else showed up, so she came back home at 0900.
I did school with Pippa, vacuumed a bit.
Pippa wants her ship in a bottle for her birthday. It has to be pink. Of course. I have 6 weeks. The only bottle that's practical at this time is empty clear beer bottle.
She's getting a pink catamaran. Upright instead of laying on its side. Another first, but I think I got this. As usual I'll build her (all boats are she's) outside the bottle and then chuck her in.
Started the pontoons and fabric deck today. Also cut the mast and cleaned up a bottle.

My wife sent me a text that Lowe's is doing walk in interviews. She's so subtle! I have to admit, I've got butterflies at the thought but the money would help. It's not what I'd like to do long term though, but I know that they're looking for seasonal help which might be good to get the ball rolling to bigger and better things.

In laws came over yesterday to visit from Joisey. They were quite civil this time. No complaining about the trip, no rude comments about a dust bunny I missed when cleaning. No bad jokes or politics at the dinner table.
I fed them keto chili. Didn't tell 'em it was keto, but I was eating it. It's obvious. We also had sugar free cheese cake from the Pocono cheese cake factory down at the Crossings. Dads on a pre diabetes diet. Wouldn't hurt him.

So Pippa did her field trip, had lunch and completed her daily school assignments in less than an hour.
That's right. English test, Social studies, science lessons and Spanish speaking test all in an hour.
What the heck goes on in public school that takes all darn day?
She will have met her 3rd grade requirements come middle of May.
She's now with a private online academy.
Oh yeah, she hates school. Buts she's an A/B student, go figure.
She loves her stem Co-op and Arts co-op, horsey academy and ballet though.

I put the catamaran in the bottle. In a few days, I'll give the mast string a pull and put a drop of superglue on the hinge. The boat needs to dry in place on a slower glue for now.
It's vertical in a beer bottle.
