My internet has noticeably slowed down and on the television end CNN seems to hang for several seconds from time to time.
You?

Try another news outlet. CNN is a bit slow all the time. Anywhoooo, When the kids are home for Thanksgiving we are moving our cell phones and TV to AT&T. Hate Frontier cable and really hate Verizon Wireless. I have 2 small bars in the "worlds best cellular network". We will cave over $100 a month by bundling and maybe more with the wife's Healthcare worker discount.

We have Spectrum Cable for TV and AT&T internet. Why the split? AT&T U-Verse TV, which we loved, was fazed out last year. Instead of just saying that and offering a great deal on their new service they chose to lie about it and continue raising prices while dropping programming. However, last time we had cable internet a tech let me in on a dirty little secret when I kept complaining about slow service. When they say "up to 100mbps" etc., that applies to the entire node that dozens of homes may be pulling off. If you're on and no one else is....grease lightning! Once people get home from work/school and start sucking bandwidth you're only getting a fraction of that 100mbps "pie." My wife would be on call and couldn't access records because the kid down the street is streaming porn and LOLing his "friends'" stupid Facebook posts all night. We have 50mbps service through AT&T, but it's a dedicated line. We get all 50, all the time.
Anyway, cable TV has been fine. Every once in a while it'll freeze up but reset the box and back in business. AT&T internet has been remarkably reliable in the 5 years we've had it. Only a handful of times have I had to restart the modem. Think we had one "outage" a couple years ago that was fixed in a few hours. Haven't had any issues with both kids on video conference all day for school, and me streaming Sirius XM all day, etc.

GBDad, we also loved AT&T Uverse. I was phased out here many years ago and after Frontier took it over we had the same issues with more $$ for less programming.

ATT uverse at a blazing 6Mbps and Hulu. Satellite was too expensive and we have no other options for internet except for ATT fixed wireless (25Mbps) that has a 250Gb data cap. We can't do the data cap. Even at 6Mbps during the summer, we were going over 600Gb. They charge us $55 a month. What about you guys?
What really sucks is that a 1/4 mile away (as the crow flies), the electric Co-oP (we are in a different electric system), offers fiber to home 500Mbps for $75, or 1Gbps for $100, no data cap. It took a rural electric Co-op five years and a federal grant to offer this to any customer that had their electric service. ATT has been taking the same rural development money for decades, and I get 6Mbps DSL. Ah, corruption.
