Push- ups.
Remember Roy Scheider on "jaws?" I read somewheres that they were the secret to his physique. And smoking. I had the ultimate push-up disk when I was single. It worked. I was pumping out 150 a day, and jogging 3 miles a day every other day. Key word- I was SINGLE. A push-up makes you tense up you belly. I remember starting on my knees, doing a girly push-up. So we get an exercise mat and do as many as we can from our knees until we fall on our faces. (Me 17 in one sitting) Every day, you do one push-up more. But wait- I don't have time? Who's that guy?

Hehe - “single” is the key word. My wife was away all week. There were times I forgot to eat. The other morning I got on the scale and it said 193.4; the lowest I’ve been in probably a decade and down over 20 pounds from about two years ago.
Then my wife gets home and the mindset shifts to “I need to go grocery shopping” and “let’s go out with friends for Thai.” I just went for a 15 mile ride that took just over an hour and my app says I burned over 980 calories. I’m dripping with sweat and I figure I’m down another pound or two of water weight. What does the scale say though? 194.8! WTH?!? I guess I gotta drop a deuce for the trend to continue.

Don't answer that - I know it sucks to get old. Speaking of which, I'm starting to seriously think that I'm going to have to go under the knife for a nagging injury. Years ago I tripping running after a fleeing Justin and appeared to have torn the tendon on my big toe. I don't think it healed properly; it's been swelling and has been throbbing. A friend had two similar procedures done and had to be off his feet for 6 months after each procedure. I'm not looking forward to that; I've enjoyed being in good health otherwise and I know the inactivity is going to negate that.
