It's been snowing off and on all day. At least 8 inches so far. We've seen much worse

Very cold and windy here. At least there is no snow.

We've had Norman Rockwell snow for the past few days; it looks pretty with its big fat flakes but because the temperature has stayed below freezing there's no ice to go along with it so it hasn't been as much of a nuisance. The weather report says that we're going to get several inches on Saturday though.

I've been showing Joey videos of skiing and trying to get him to concede to trying it. It'd be nice to head over east to Seven Springs on Saturday but I don't think we have the winter gear for it though.

Well the weather folks totally botched the overnight ice/snow prediction for early this morning. At least it did not screw up mid term testing today. 4 day weekend for my Daughter. Tomorrow is a family party on Long Island. My wife is going tonight to help my In laws. My daughter and I are planning on going tomorrow and come back Sunday. Not sure if it will work out since we are in the cross hairs of the snow/ice/rain line most of the way there and back. UHG! Great group of family but the risk might be too much.

Done and done. We would be stuck on Long Island until at least Monday. No thanks.

Beautiful outside now. Going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Woke up to a chilly 1* temperature today. Sunny and windy. Already up to 5*. I believe 7* is the predicted high temp for today.

Yup. It's been sunny on and off here, which means that in winter all that heat is radiating off into space. The predicted high here is 8 degrees, so there'll be a heat wave coming your way, Mark!
