GBDad, I did not even have to open your link. That was how my day started. It never ends for Mets fans. This nonsense, last year they fire new manager Carlos Beltran due to Astros past cheating issues (all teams cheat btw) and who can forget the Mets owners being scammed by Bernie Madoff. These are just recent issues. Always in the news for the wrong reasons the Mets are.

That being said, LETS GO METS!

RIP Hank Aaron. Still one of the most beloved legends in Wisconsin sports history. Eau Claire Bears 1952. Milwaukee Braves 1954-1965. Milwaukee Brewers 1975-1976.

R.I.P. Hammerin Hank! The legitimate all time MLB Home Run King! Total class all the way.

I'm getting the fever!!! Only 17 days until spring training. The Brewers contacted season ticket holders earlier this week in anticipation of having a limited capacity if/when fans are allowed to attend games this year. Can keep your tickets or put them in to a credit to buy single games this year or next. Decided just to keep mine and see what happens. You get a credit for any games played without fans anyway.

Will be interesting to see what it's like in a socially distanced, limited capacity, situation. Cannot imagine things are going to improve so much in the next 8 months that a full capacity crowd will be allowed at any point during this season, if fans are even allowed at all. God bless them, the new ownership that took over in 2005 has done an amazing job promoting the team and getting people out to the ballpark. Butts in seats means higher payroll, means more competitive team, etc. and they've made the playoffs 3 years in a row. On the flip side of that, I'd say a good 60%+ of the crowd are one time a year-ers who are there to tailgate and party, and while I won't question their fandom, the game on the field is a secondary attraction to the atmosphere and the party. A crowd of 10,000 mostly season ticket holders who are there primarily for the game, not the party, sounds like baseball heaven for a guy like me. For this year. Then hopefully COVID is under control and pack the place again and beat the fricken sCrUBS!

Sounds like Brew Crew fans are being treated right! I can't wait for baseball either GBDad! My Godmother moved down the FL near Mets training camp. I want to plan a trip to go in 2022 and experience that. Friends that have tell stories of watching games by day and hanging with some players by night. e shall see.

That being said, I hope new Mets owner Steve Cohen is not deep into the Reditt/Gamestop fiasco. Never easy for Mets fans.

Angels just suspended Calloway as Pitching coach. His MLB career is about to end.

Mets make a solid offer to Trevor Bauer but he decides to go the Dodgers for similar money (until he factors in taxes). Close to home for him. Don't blame him. Glad he is not in the Mets division.

This little tidbit is for Kwak. Sorry brother.
