This forum has an extensive knowledge bank that comes in the form of it's members, and because of their diverse backgrounds you have a well of knowledge you can draw from, everything from cars and chainsaws to every aspect of building and home maintenance. Before you decide to ask questions though, be aware that you can always hire a professional, in fact Mark B will always advise that and now I saved him from posting it in your thread because you just read it.
To get the most from the community: 1) post all the information you can about the project you are looking at, include model numbers, part numbers, layouts, whatever little pieces of information you have that will help the members here help you. The more info they have the quicker they can help you. 2) If you sound like you know what your doing I.E. "I'm gonna go get a starter for my jeep and throw it on", then people will assume you do, so if you need advice or help, ask. 3) If you just want to know what something takes, but you already know your going to hire it done, say that at the beginning, let people know where you are going with your thread. 4) don't expect everyone to say "great job", if you post it on here then you are inviting criticism as well, it's a part of the process. and 5) don't irritate sao thanks AND ONE MORE TIME, POST ALL THE INFO YOU CAN! BE SPECIFIC. Model numbers are great, the more information you post at the beginning will result in the help you recieve being quicker and more accurate.
