FI'm Modified Atkins 10carbs a day goal, beotch dietician wants me keto and put me on MCT oil with every meal and coconut oil for cooking.
Bloodwork and urine show no ketones in labwork, but at home my peesticks show I'm halfway up the scale so they can SUCK IT!
Like Doc said, who cares; seizures are way less frequent. That's the goal.
And I got the implant.

I had keto cashew chicken chicken and Keto Chinese dumplings last night and it was better than takeout! Even my no. Keto wife had it with me and agreed!

I don't excercise unless jumping to conclusions, chasing rainbows, and sometimes diahrea of the mouth counts.

Ok. My wife and I have been doing keto for a little over three weeks now.

Down 15 pounds.
Not having to spend as much on food.
Energy is picking-up.

Weight loss is not my goal, I got as low as 150, then started putting it back on. Up to 162 now. But have stayed there since Spring. Why? You ask. Well, keto involves fasting and working out.
I can't do either. So I manage my protein. Protein is for muscle repair NOT an energy source, so it should not be more important than fats. Think average piece of meat.

My point is without a small workout, weight gain is possible.

Dr. Ken Berry has very informative videos on YouTube and is a good one to "follow" on Twitter along with Proffesor Tim Noakes.

My wife went keto, in the spring, realizing how carbs and wine was making her feel ill and always tired. She lost last 20lbs. Of the 100 she has been trying to lose for the last 9 years. I'm proud of her!

I started skipping one meal every other day. To encourage the Keto fat burn. MWF. Breakfast or lunch. Also the 2 eggs egg omelet with leftover green veggies that my wife didn't eat (I ate my 1 cup) goes in the omelet, goes down to 1 egg. Thinking about bicep curls or push-ups.

Update: skipping breakfast or lunch MWF, and replacing with MCT oil in a drink, has put me into a deeper state of Ketosis as shown by moving up to next bar on Keto sticks. That's a good thing!

Short and sweet. First trials as an alternative treatment for Epilepsy reported in theAmerican Medical Record in 1921.
Picked up by Mayo clinic a few yrs later.
Johns Hopkins Research Medical Center behind it since the 50's
National recognition in 1993 when Meryl Streep created a made for TV movie film dramatizing it.
Tour de France cyclist promoted the benefits and it got recognition as healthy worldwide, in a small way.
Recently it has been proven to reverse diabetes but has met resistance form big pharma, agricultural, and people not understanding fat is good for you. Studies from 20 yrs ago show no link between cholesterol and heart disease. They were hidden By big Pharma. Now they are coming out on deathbed confessions. New studies coming out daily, mostly in Britain.
I have the Johns Hopkins Keto Manual/guide.

HI heard a gr8 idea for common sense, low carb/no carb eating.
Before you put it in your mouth, ask yourself:
Did God make that? No? Don't eat it.
Twinkie? No.
Cow. Yes.
Vegetables. Yes.
Pasta. No.
Pie. No.
Potato chip. No.
Cheerios. No.

Be careful with fruit. If it was way up high in a tree it wasn't meant for you. Why would God put something way up in a tree where you got get on a ladder to get it?
Most fruits are natural sugar. 1 Orange is ok. Why go mashing up 12 oranges and drinking the juice?
1 12oz glass of natural Oj has as much sugar as a soda pop. 3 tablespoons, according to my diet start guide from Johns Hopkins.
Don't believe in God- substitute who ever you think the creator is.
