Vacuumed upstairs, swept downstairs, swept out the garage. Kept an eye on the princess, running drinks, and guidunk. Sanded the ship for the ship in a bottle. Stopped yesterday and decided to go back a couple steps, scrapping some crappy work. Remanufactured the masts. Put the joint holes in them. Washed away the paint dust. I'll let it dry for at least a day in that hot garage.

Yup. Didn’t do squat but talk to my therapist and cook meals for my young. I admit that I did do the dishes.

Therapist. That sounds like a good idea. I've probably needed that, but who has the time?

I changed the gasket to the door/tub of the frontload washer. No more leaks during cycles.

Took the truck to the shop for her annual safety inspection. Mice
tore her up good. Failed. They chewed up the brake lines, the front pads (I was wondering what the gray powder on the floor by the tires was.) Their piss cause corrosion on vital components. Calipers trashed. Besides that, they were chewing on wires everywhere you look. This morning I found the nest. It is inside the air I tank box where the air filer goes. Dead mouse in there too. On the way the way to the shop I was standing on the brakes trying to stop. We live 1100 feet up and had to go down to 600. I might have trashed the rotors/ calipers on the way to shop.

Ouch Irie, they did a number on that truck. I had a red squirrel get in to mine and chew up the air filter and some other miscellaneous wiring. Fortunately not brakes or anything. Also got lucky the insurance covered almost all the repairs and we didn’t have to pay much out of pocket.
A few weeks later as I was washing dishes, looking out at the back yard, I saw a hawk swoop down and fly back up with a red squirrel in its talons. I don’t think I’ve ever cheered so hard. |

Hey, hey!
Got to drive my truck again! Just 2 days after wife's car has Safety inspection, engine light comes on. I'm a conspiracy theorist. I'm thinking the mechanics are pulling a fast one. Wife's calls them. Says her name. right away, dude is like which vehicle? and names each each model.
