Good morning? Same here Kwak. This sucks. Might have to turn the heat on too. Is it Tuesday yet?

In other news, if the local Memorial Day Parade goes off on Monday I will be driving a Veteran in my Mustang in the parade. After throwing in my mouth 2 years ago when the Parade opened with the oldest Veteran in town being driven in a Mazda Miata I had to try to put and end to that.

We went away Friday to go camping for the weekend. It rained nearly the entire time. Now the sun is out and weíll like be having take out for dinner on our patio.

Good morning, guys.

It was a beautiful weekend. I smoked the pork for about 9 hours. So tender. My dad brought some extra wood over, and we had a nice roaring fire in the pit for most of Saturday. On Monday, we went to my parents' and target shot pistols and my BIL's .22 magnum rifle (that's a fun shot).

Perfect weekend, weather-wise.

Good morning,

That's good to hear. Part of me wished I'd stayed home this weekend but the last 12 hours of our trip was actually nice. The ride home was just over an hour so it wasn't all bad either.

Of course, with the lawnmower being in the shop it looks like we were away for a month!

Good morning. This weather doesn't seem to know what it wants to do with itself.

It's Wednesday, Mark. How did it go on Monday?

Morning, guys.

Are you going to have to bale the yard, Kwak? Maybe rent some goats until the mower is fixed?

Yeah, lots of rain here. I can't believe it's June already. It's been so cool.

I talked to my neighbor about hiring his guy. When he didnít come yesterday I went out and bought an old timey push mower. Itís no replacement and now my yard is full of clippings but now I have something to do the hillside.

Good morning,

Wife has a cold, my mom wants to get together for lunch, kid won't get out of bed on his "asynchronous virtual" school day, the lawn needs mowing but the mower is in the shop, I need to call around to look for a new school for the other kid and we have an IEP meeting with his current school that essentially means little more than an opportunity to dissolve an untenable relationship. Beer me.

The parade went off as planned after the weather cleared up. I was ready to go at the parade and was assigned a Veteran to drive, Louie. As I walked him to my car a woman walked up to me and informed me she was going to take him since she has been here for a long time. It was total BS but I thought it best to not make a scene and I told the fireman that was escorting us to just let her take him in her son's POS corvette. What are ya gonna do? The POS Miata lead the parade again sadly to say. What is even sadder is that there are very few WWII Vets able to make these events in person. Vietnam Vets and Korean War Vets don't seem to be as willing to come out Memorial Day for these events. Non war time Veterans seem to be in the same boat. Sad.
