It just seems to clarify a few things to me. The article put a name to why people that wanted me to "be positive" like them always seemed to piss me off.
Yup. I put that concept up there with passive aggressivism and free advice. It's hollow at best and really does nothing more but make the sender feel better.

EDIT: sometimes it's worse though. Sometimes the pat on the back is a push out the door.

Not sure where else to put this. For my birthday I got a gift card to REI so I bought a dropper post and a lever where the front shifter used to be. The function of the dropper post is to allow you to toggle the height of your seat. On mountain bikes you drop the seat down on descents so that it's out of your way and you can shift your weight around, then when you have to pedal on uphills you can toggle it back to the proper height with the lever for your left thumb. What I really like about my bike is that Trek made it with internal routing points on the frame so I could run the cable for the seat post completely inside the frame.

Do a review on YouTube! I watched your review of the chain cleaner, really good!

LOL, it's not really a channel as much as it is a dumping ground of random home movies. I put a little effort into one and it's got a couple thousand views but even I can't sit through it.

Christmas lights ... ugh.

Every year I hang a strand only to find out that it doesn't work. There was a shopping frenzy when they put them all on the shelves back in October so it's been hard finding replacements, but I lucked out and found a decent stash at Ace Hardware. The prices were even better than the Chinese junk on Amazon.

Anyway, my wife took the initiative on decorating this year - both our house and over at Justin's. I feel guilty and asked if I should do more and she told me no.

My spider sense is tingling. I've GOT to be in trouble.

Oh yeah. I get my a$$ chewed every year for not helping to decorate the tree enough. Not that I don't put the tree up by myself, or decorate the outside of the house by myself. I get the same crap on Christmas cards. Just because I'm not doing what she wants, when she wants it, she acts like I didn't help at all. Sheesh!

Good morning,

We don't do Christmas cards anymore. That's a two-edged sword though. They're typically the only time of year we would reach out to people who aren't on social media. Instead, we got a call last month that one of my last surviving uncles on my father's side passed away and that only one is left.

TLDR better to send something, even if it arrives late. Christmas is a season that doesn't begin on Black Friday and isn't over on Boxing Day.
