Good day, it's 12:15 and I was sleeping off a funk.
It's a rainy day and it's cooler so I'm expecting our allergies to be better. I think I need to buy new pillows for Joe though.

Good day, I'm late. It's a teacher in service day in addition to election day. I slept in again.

Good morning, guys.
I spent a c-note yesterday to fill-up our kid carrier. We spent $750 last month in gas and are on-track to spend $900 this month. ![]()

Summer seems to have hit!
![]() Thankfully I only have to have to fill up my car once every 3 weeks or so. As much as I hate living in town, living in the middle of everything has its perks. |

Good morning,
It's been slightly cooler this week but we'll be hitting the upper 80s starting tomorrow. As for fuel costs, I regularly put $70-$80 into our Pilot every week. We visit our son 3x a week and it's 50 mile round trip through the most congested parts of our area. Gas is $4.69 a gallon here today.

Good morning, guys.
I filled-up at $4.09, the cheapest in the area, on Tuesday before taking my son to speech therapy and OT (62 mile round trip). That's only once a week. Last night, I topped-off at $4.19 a gallon (the new cheapest). School's out, so that's 38 miles, twice a day, that we are not having to drive. So, when school was in session, we were doing 252 miles, a week. That's not counting going to the grocery store or Lowe's (that's a 50 mile round trip). So, some of the minuses of rural life.

Good morning.
It was hot this weekend but now things have settled down into the upper 60s. That's pretty much ideal for me I think. My allergies are killing me though; the old shnoz drips like an old kitchen faucet.

Good morning,
Gee, it's quiet. Are you guys deep into planning for summer camps, extended school year, vacations and/or the Memorial day weekend like we are? How are the lawns and barbecues doing?
