Good morning, guys.

Ow, I hurt. I'm old and out of shape. Not as old as you geezers, apparently, but I sure ain't 30 anymore.

Good morning.

Morning walks and sneaking in a siesta every now and then helps.

Good morning, guys.

We got the pool up on Friday morning. We got it filled by Saturday afternoon. The kids got to spend a couple cool hours in it on Saturday and Sunday. All went well, except for the water being a little cool. My wife wants a heat pump now. We'll see.

Good afternoon,

Ironically up here all the pools are being drained; Labor Day was the last day all the public pools are open. Pretty soon there will be frost on the pumpkin.

Speaking of which, I need to put that case of Oktoberfest in the beer fridge. Dad priorities.

Good morning, guys.

We've been in it every day so far. I figure that we will be lucky to get another week or two, but we'll see. I've still got lots of little things to finish with it.

Good morning,

Yeah, enjoy summer as long as you can. I just don't like the heat and humidity all the time and know that at some point there's going to be a drastic shift in just a couple of weeks. That's not to say that the change of seasons isn't a bad thing, just really sudden. In two months I'll be missing being able to just slip on the loafers and walk out the back door to the patio like I can now. The only downside is that there are currently too many bugs.

Anyway, I am actually looking forward to fall. I'm looking forward to enjoying stunning colors in my morning walks and bike rides and crisp nights around the fire pit. I would really like to follow my neighbors' example and set things up so that we can entertain outside all through football season.

Good morning, guys.

Yeah, that's me too. As the equinox approaches, I'm ready for the season change. By March, I'm sick of the cold, and by September, I'm done with the heat.

Good morning,

...and we have fog. That's often a thing around here this time of year. It will burn off and be hot and humid later. Good day for painting? I don't know...
