Good morning,

I'm noticing that the neighbors have started decorating for Halloween; my next door neighbors jumped the gun by putting theirs up in early September.

Meanwhile, I work hard to ensure that my house DOESN'T look haunted year round so decorating for Halloween should be a breeze. I just have to make sure the house doesn't catch on fire lol.

Seriously - there's always LOADS of cobwebs, stink bugs, critters in the shrubs, rotted wood that I keep de-prioritizing and loads of weeds that I just can't get rid of and don't realize that they are weeds because the flowers are so pretty. 🤦*♂️

I'm working on it guys. Now when I talk to myself I make sure I'm wearing my earbuds with the microphone so it looks like I'm talking on my phone.

I'm kidding of course. Nobody's talking back. Most of the time I'm verbally reminding myself where I put things. 😉

Good morning, guys.

Bah, I talk to myself all the time. Usually, one is cussing, one is heating to a boil, and the last is trying to keep me from screaming. I have a committee.

You mention yard work, and I have a load of that to do. Thanks to self-imposed obligations and the weather, I have not been able to mow the yard or trim the fall sprouts from the bushes for over two weeks. It looks bad. I'm really hoping the rain will back-off for a few hours today.

Good morning,

My lawn is a mess. Itís overgrown with crabgrass and clover and other types of close lying weeds. I decided to drop the deck on the mower and just mulch the clippings. I have half a mind to just use ground clear on all of it but itís too late in the season to plant. Best to start of with a clean slate in the spring, upon which time I will be hiring a lawn service to do the bulk of it.

Good morning, guys.

I got the yard knocked-out yesterday and the pool covered. I like I finally got something done for me. The house looks good when I drive up.

A few more errands to run before the weekend and some fall cleaning.

Good morning,

My wife is working from home today. It's also an away game so we won't see our kid until probably 11pm.

Good morning, guys.

Fall break has begun. I've got a small list of projects to tackle this week to keep me sane amongst the chaos.

Good morning.

My wife is working from home today. It's going to be a hot one outside too.

Good morning, guys.

Fall break. The kids slept-in.... kind of. I got to sleep-in... mostly. So far, a good day.

Good morning.

I got three hours of sleep last night; I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. I'm preoccupied about my kid's situation. I'll rant about it elsewhere.

Good morning,

It seems that I send so many emails every day that I should probably just go back into civil service. Having a paycheck to go along with all the administrative work would be nice.
